2.4 S spec w/ 2.2 pistons?

I recall this being a suggested combo in Wayne's book but what kind of HP/torque would this give?

Anybody out there actually have this setup and if so how do you like it?

Thanks,

Erik

I believe we all make mistakes but I will not validate your poor choices and/or perversions and subsidize the results your actions.

I have an engine that has the following: 2.2S case, 2.2S cylinders and pistons, and 2.4S crank and rods. It also has S cams and 2.4S MFI with plastic stacks.

I like it very much; however I don't get it to rev higher than 4000-4500 rpm in the city. The real fun with this setup is between 4500-7300 rpm!
