If i had the cash to blow i'd be the sporatic p-car enthusiast to buy that. I figured I'd post it here where it may have a chance to end up on the shelf of a true enthusiast..

Now this is darn cool, but how much does it cost to find a full-size 2.7 engine? I'm just curious what the difference is because while I'm sure that the model is incredibly intricate and well-detailed, it occurs to me to wonder if you could just buy a real engine for that price or not too much more?

You might find a real engine for that price, but it would be too big for the coffee table ...

Fair enough - it was just amusing to me that a model could cost almost as much as the real thing .
