I am rebuilding my 1985 930 and I have a rubber seal that fits midway around the air inlet pipe to the turbo that is used to stop the pipe impacting on the part of the rear engine tray that it passes through. I have attached a picture of the old one.
I want to get a new one from somewhere but as far as I can see it does not appear on my Porsche parts list anywhere. Can anybody tell me the part number for this item or where I might get such a part from? Any help or advice would be gratefully received. Many thanks for this Mike,
I have the PET system and I can find the part you indicate but the one I want is the seal around the solid pipe (item 16) that goes to the air inlet side of the turbo the black one you indicate is on the air outlet side. (I don't mean item 17 or 20). I am not sure why my photo has not come out but if you paste the link into your browser (without the [img] and [/img/ bits you will be able to see it... Best regards Steve Last edited by SteveCarr; 01-06-2007 at 08:43 AM.. |

HI Steve try this , put in a 88 car ,911 and select engine, select cooling and put the page up with the fan on , now go to the top right and select the box to the right of the pencil, you will get a drop down box , now select the letters ATP, a box will appear, put the part No' in and continue/go/forward which ever you have it will take you to the page the part No' is on , look through the list of No' and select the part, I think you are looking for this 930 106 191 00 (No' 27)
regards mike

Thanks Mike,
After looking where you said I have found the part you mention in your post and it could be the right thing so I am going to talk to Porsche and then order it. With a bit of luck it will be the one I want. I will post again here to let you know how I got on. Many thanks for helping me Mike I appreciate it... Best regards Steve |
