are 993 head studs "dilivar"?
I'm looking at build sheet for a car I might buy.
It says "dilivar head studs' and gives part # 99310117051. Are these "993" studs or regular dilivar studs? Or are 993 studs ALSO dilivar? Please straighten me out. Thanks.

Good question...I was thinking I'd seen references to the 993 studs being dilavar as well but I don't recall exactly where it was.

The PET lists two part numbers for the 993 engine:
993-101-172-02 993-101-170-51 I suspect one of them is the turbo stud. I don't think any of them are dilavar, but steel instead. btw, the PET lists them as "stud" never mentions dilavar anywhere.

I posted in the tech forum also and got a pretty good answer from Wayne himself.
