Hopefully you engine building gurus can answer this for me
![]() I pulled all my plugs today and found my #1 plug is wetter than the others. They are all quite sooty, but look dry. #1 however, looks wet, possibly due to excess fuel, or possibly oily residue ![]() Does this mean worn valve guides or piston rings? ![]() If a compression test/leakdown shows this cylinder is on it's way out, am I looking at BIG $$$$ to do this one P&C? Engine was rebuilt completely about 2 years ago ![]() Advice appreciated.

James:
Its time to perform a leakdown test to see what you have going on. The results will frame what your next step will be.
