3.2 Cylinders 3.0 Crank
Can 3.2 cylinders be used with a 3.0 crank to make a 3.0 or due to the shorter stroke will this result in a compression drop?

Hi Steve..what pistons and rods did you plan?
The 3.2 rods are not really much good..its much cheaper and better to start with a SC motor if you must have 3.0 litres.. Kind regards david |

The only difference between the 3.0 SC cylinders and the 3.2 cylinders is the sealing ring and groove used on the SC. Porsche eliminated the sealing ring on the 3.2 motors and these cylinders can be used for a 3.0 application without the sealing ring.
