Need scrapped on engine oil cooler

I am looking for a scrapped on engine oil cooler. I intend to cut the cooler part off and use the base plate as a tool to fabricate an oil console with a filter. I will pay shipping to 30062.

I know the 993 console can be used but it doesn't meet my needs. Thanks, neilca |

Have you considered the one from iSystems?

It has some nice advantages like no turns, temperature port at the inlet so you know what your coolers doing and the internal ports are the same size as the case.... Unlike the 930/993 unit. Best is that it comes with the inlet. Untitled Document t

That is an interesting setup. I wouldn't trust the upper two bolts to hold against the pressure. That is a big torque arm.

I intend to machine one myself that will place the filter at 45degrees toward the transmission. This should give me room to use a FL1A Motorcraft filter. I will also include the -16AN fitting for the pump inlet. I could layout the hole patterns but it is just quicker and less mistake prone to back drill from an existing cooler. |
