Whats with all these #'s on my 2.7??

Here you see 9011051111R and then under the motor there is 911-101-101-7R
911-101-102-7R

I though it was a 74 2.7 but I dont know what these mean.

Also This was a great running motor, just looked dirty. What could I check for (Headbolts) before I reassemble??
Is this a better than stock clutch??

Those are all casting #'s for the various pieces of the engine.
Look for 2 numbers in the highlighted area below:
- There should be the engine number stamped into the vertical fan support
- The engine type is stamped on the horizonal surface near the oil pressure switch

Post those two numbers and it will be easy to decipher.

These #'s show 1976 49State US 2.7 engine - hope that helps.
