				 | Re torque your head studs after 1000 km ?
I have now driven 1000 km (620 miles) with my engine after rebuild. Is it time for re torquing the head studs ?? i have head different opinions on that - but what do Porsche recommend ? Regards Roslin

With stock head studs there is generally no need to retorque. ARP head bolts have shown some issues in this reguard so check the manufacturer for their recommendation.

Thanks for advice Henry. The engine is still completely dry, and running well. John, i like the Stahlwille because it is not spring loaded, and should bee very precise over time. - but you are right it is nice :-) Roslin more pichs from rebuild.. My own special made washers for trough bolts, they are more equal than the OEM part, and do not damage the O-rings. Special made fixtur, for grinding the cylinder top in a circular grinding machine
