Question Cylinder Base Gaskets .24 .23

In my New gasket kit for my 2.4 T my Cylinder Base Gaskets measured differently.

3 of them came in at .23

and the other

3 came in at .24

Will this Make A Difference on installation, or should I just use the same size three on Each Side ? ?

Also Anyone know off hand what the Deck Height should be for an OE 72 2.4 T

.01mm shouldn't make a difference. I'd use the same size all one one side. Deck height is about 1-1.5mm for all 911 engines as far as I know. I'd use these as min and max numbers.

No difference. They are cut from sheet and that is what I would consider to be well within tollerance of either the manufacturing or the end measurement.

Cheers

No problem, just do like you already suggested, run the same size three on one side and the others three on the other bank and you'll be just fine. Your motor won't realize that one cam tower is .0004" taller than the other :-)

Yup, .040-.060" is just fine for the deck height, just make sure to check clearances if you're running anything more than the stock cam to ensure you have sufficient piston to valve clearance.
