2.4T MFI pump price check

In my slow, slow quest to collect parts, I found a local craigslist seller with a 1972 911T MFI pump, pulled from the car at 67k miles and unused since. The seller's ad says "this fuel injection pump is excellent condition and in working condition...its almost brand new condition!!!! ...camshaft and rack both turn and move freely this is complete unit !"

Would this make a good donor towards say a future 2.8S, 2.8SS or 3.2SS? And what would be a fair price to pay today? He's asking $400.

Follow-up questions: how difficult will it be to source the correct stacks, TBs, linkages, lines, injectors, etc., and would this work with say a 2.8S, 2.8SS, or 3.2SS?

I suppose I should have asked that first. Duh.

Not without been converted/re-calibrated for the higher displacement using a RS cam. This still in most cases works out cheeper than sourcing the correct/original RS pump in useable condition.

Heres mine thats just been done by Henry.





1972t Pump built to 3.0/3.2 Spec with internal oilling and cold start mod.

i was told the RS cam was no longer available ?

The RS cam can be found in Germany. I spoke with Bosche experts in Germany, and the E- space cam is NLA.
