Intake manifold spacers
Hi All,
I have a 1970 2.0 914-6 motor. I have 2 sets of Weber carbs & manifolds. One set has aluminum spacers that fit between the head and the manifold. The other set has phenolic spacers that fit between the manifold and the carbs. The manuals show a spacer under the manifold, but does it really make a difference? Ken

As if his advice needs reinforcement...what Steve said.
It will help keep the carbs cooler, which helps battle hot-start issues where fuel can boil/siphon out of the bowls while sitting.

PMO sells these, they advertise online and in Excellence. You have to fax them because they don't list a phone number.
