Using a 993 Oil Filter Console on an Early Motor??

Anyone tried this?

I did just that on my 930 motor build, used all new factory parts and deleted the engine cooler. You need a conversion pipe to connect up the oil tank but it is bolt on from there.
Advantages are second filter in the system, less weight out back, and the number 6 cylinder (if memory serves correct) runs cooler.
