I think the number John quotes is the best case scenario for a euro engine. With USA thermal reactors and EGR it's probably alot less.

Well I am feeling better..@163 c.i. it should be all of that (163 HP.)..but to settle the argument, with out some other changes it would be hard to get more....you know people, they all think they have more till you say show me on paper.!!
Mine came out 150 @ the wheels which I thought was OK......and you guys agree with that. My money says they will come up short of what they are dreaming of when the the dyno sings.

to be honest, I was a little disappointed with mine. then, upon talking to the dyno guy, I felt better. he was pretty impressed. was a near-perfect torque curve, very flat. it seems a lot of (tuner and muscle) car guys have some pretty inflated ideas of hp output. the dyno don't lie. FWIW my seat of the pants feel is that my car is pretty quick. and has left my neighbor's SC in the dust. judging by you signature you understand the other half of the HP equation....WEIGHT!

what is your HP / ? TQ. the torq runs pretty flat with mine (SC cams) Hp comes on and is a steady progression.
We did it on a dyno, 3 runs with several other P cars that day, was fun !!
