Is there a website that will reference part numbers like (301.101.102.3R)
and tell you if that is a number for a 1970 2.0L case.

Thanks,
Wayne

I think you mean a number like - 901.101.102.3R

This is the casting number for the crankcase. It is not the part number and does not necessarily relate to a specific engine type as these castings were used for several different years and engine models.

You need to refer to the engine type number, which is stamped on the case on the RHS near the fan mount and chain case. It will have a number like "901/08" . This number will allow you to reference a specific year and model.
