Mahle Piston Pins
Hello,
I have a set of Mahle 81mm Pistons that cam with piston pins that are much heavier than pins I've used in the past. The wall thickness is much larger than other pins I've used. I weighed the pins and found the heavier set weighs 120.9 grams. The pins I have been using weigh 98 grams. I'm using the pistons in a 2-litre racing application. I'm worried the heaver pins will put more stress on the rods. Does anyone have any thoughts or know where I can buy lighweight Mahle pistons pins? Thanks |

I have a large collection of piston pins.
If you tell me the OD, the length and the wt you need,,,I'll see if I have a set.

So you need 22mmX58mm X 98 grams. I assume you need (6). Let me see what I have. I'll send you a PM with a price.

Check the weight and dimensions of your pins. I have 22X58mm pins at 92 grams and other 22X58 pins at 102 grams. I have never seen any 22X58 pins at 98 grams.
