Minimum rod width?

On a Porsche 911 3.0 SC engine what is the minimum width of a connecting rod at the rod bearing end (big end) From my measurements the width of a 3.0 SC rod is 21.7mm at the big end.

I have found a very good aftermarket rod that has dimension very close to the stock rod and with minor machining can have the same, the only problem is this rod is not as wide at the rod bearing end as the 21.7mm measured off the stock rod width. So, what is the minimum rod width at the big end of the rod when used with the 70.4mm stroke 911 3.0 SC crank?
