Piston rings query.

I have a set of Mahle pistons for my 3.0SC, the later 204 hp ones, I need new rings and the part I would order would be 930-103-986-00-M42 and I would need six of them.

Is the JE substitute part JE-65006-3740 intercheangeable? Looks like its a cheaper option and this would suit me.

Thanks

Check the bottom ring land width on your piston. I think the high CR SC Mahle pistons used the 4 mm width for the oil ring. Thus would not work with the JE rings which are 3.5 mm.
