Dynamohum, you are doing a fantastic job!
Where did you get that material for ceramic coating? Is it expensive?
And how thick is the coating by your estimate?

Thank you for your kind words,

I purchased the Ceramic Coatings from Tech Line Coatings Inc.
http://www.techlinecoatings.com/BulkEngine.htm
After consulting with one of their Engineers that assured me that the CBC2 Powerkote is able to withstand a comp ratio of 13 to 1 with a boost pressure of 1 bar and 1500 deg/f I decided to go with it over their other Ceramic product CBX, because the CBC2 can be polished.

Its not that expensive ($ 24.95) considering a small 3oz bottle, is suppose to do up to 24, 4" pistons

The recommended application thickness is .001" thousands of an inch. It is a water based product, high in solids and easy to apply with a small air brush.
