Slides are done, just for fun

Slides are done, What could be cooler
Here are some pictures of the slide valve injection.
I have 3 sets.
One set is for MFI and the other two can be set up for MFI or EFI.
The port size is 43.5 mm as is the slide bore. The over all height is 11.5 " manifold to top of the velocity stack.
I also have two sets of stacks that are designed for use with air filters.
The slide removal process for cleaning appears to be very simple which will allow for easy maintenance.

I have seen the slides talked about in other posts. What are the advantages?

With a slide system....at full throttle....all you have is a great big hole going to the intake.
No restrictions....no butterfly....just a nice smooth hole!!
At partial throttle, depending on the leading edge contour of the slide, it can also be very smooth (if the leading edge is not straight, but curved to give an iris effect).
And Henry....very nice.

Thanks for all the kind words. I think they're pretty cool too.
Just to be clear. This is not my design. I purchased this project mid stroke and spent the last 1 1/2 trying to finish it up. I was going to try to mass produce them (if 10 qualifies as mass) but it turned out to be way to challenging.

for such a simple idea i bet there are numerous details that make these difficult to manufacture in small qtys. is there a measureable difference between these and normal butterfly TBs?
