Polishing crank
There are no machine shops in my vicinity that are knowledgeable at working on Porsche parts, so I ship out what needs to be done. I assume that polishing the crank is basic enough that I can trust the local shop to do it? Any reason that I shouldn't?

Your local big block chevy place can micro polish your crank... and probably even zero balance it.
