Well, I rechecked after the bolts were torqued. I went in for a snack, came out and put the chain tensioners on and timing chain cover, and I spun it around and checked again, before removing the dial indicator setup. I think I got it right, but it took a while.

I then started putting putting it back together. New rockers and lifters and new valve covers. I am about where I started, because the engine came as a long block. It will be fun going forward and seeing what I am missing.

Well, it is slowly coming together. Time to start figuring where all the wires go, and install the distributor. I know it needs to be at TDC to put the distributor in, I just need to figure out which TDC I am at.
