964 RS valves need seat change?
Standard 964 valves are 49 and 41.5mm.
RS valves are 51.5 and 43.5mm Thats 2.5mm and 2mm larger (for those without calculators handy!) Q is - is it OK to just machine out the ID of the standard valve seats to accommodate the larger valves? Is there enought meat left to be sure they won't drop out? ![]() I don't see separate seats listed in PET for RS valves, so I suspect one seat suits all. Can anyone please confirm?

seats
The intake seats need to be larger, you can get away with opening up the ex seat and doing the valve job for the 43.5, providing the seat is in good shape now.
