Head Studs

Doesn't anyone have experience with Raceware compared to ARP head studs. I am building a 2.5, 11:1, 911 engine for PCA racing.
Thanks
Rich

You should add Supertec head studs to your inquiry.
They are available through Pelican Parts.
Cheers

+1 on Supertec's studs. IMHO the best product available.

2.5

Rich, kinda off post but will ask anyway. I'm in the process of the 2.5 build myself. What are you going to use for cams? and what size carbs are you going with?

BTW I'm the slow poke gulf blue and orange 914-6 that you always have been nice enough to help out up at Putnam Park.

I am using the cams I had ground for my 2.2. They are Web cams #120 104 that are like S cams but not as torquey. They seem to work well. I am using PMO 40 carbs. I had to rejet and change the chokes. If interested I can get the information for you as to the exact jets. My motor is 11:1 using a 2.7 crank and I think 86mm pistons. Whatever makes 2.5. You can also build a 2.5 using a 2.0 to 2.4 crank and 2.7 pistons. This make a higher revving motor but less torque. If you buy carbs and need intake manifolds I have a new set of PMO intakes that I can let go at a good price.
Good Luck with the project.
See you at the track.
Rich
