993 chain housing on 3.0 Ltr

Ok so am I crazy? The 993 chain housing will bolt to a 3.0 ltr case, the ramp bolts are the wrong size but I think the correct location. Has anyone tried this? Any advantages?

Just thinking on line,

Short answer I have them, if they will work and offer an advantage over the older design I would consider the needed changes to make them work. If no advantage no reason to try.
