Converting to Webers - What about Wiring Harness

I have a 1979 911Sc that I will be converting to Webers.
My question is what do I do with my wiring harness?
I would hate to cut it up since it is still good and I could sell it with my CIS.

Do most people just make up their own?

You dont have to cut anything. You simply remove the wires you dont need from the plug and their termination points. Then you can allways put it back to stock if you need to.

Be carfull separating the plug the wires may fall right out. but you have the other side of the plug as reference.

I am assuming you are ditching the AC, and the smog pump as well.

What Ac ? Smog Pump??
They are long gone.

The engine is now a SS 3.2, 964 Cams (I like it mild) SSI and M&K Sport Muffler

I'm doing the same thing right now and over the weekend. I unwrapped the entire engine harness of black tape from the factory. Then I removed all the wiring that went to anything CIS which are most of the two pin plugs plus the thermo switch on the chain box cover. The is also a large two pin plug that goes to the now removed A/C clutch that has been removed. I then re-wrapped the harness with new electrical tape and it looks like factory.

What connections are there. I recognize some of the fittings for the CIS?
