				Machinist recomendation needed for 914

I have a 914 coming into the shop next week. From the description the customer gave me, it sounds as if it dropped a valve seat.

Any good advice for cylinder head work for 4 cyl motors? My local guy will throw stuff at me if I even ask. Not sure if any of the usual 911 guys also do the type 4 stuff. Henry, Ollies, Ottos, EBS?? I was going to make some calls tomorrow, but cant hurt to ask here. Any advice would be appreciated Thanks

It seems like Jake Raby has an excellent reputation on the 914 boards

Home Don't know if he would provide head work alone, but if he will not, I'm sure he could point you in the right direction. To be upfront, I have no first hand experience with him or his company. I've only heard others rave about the products. -Ryan |
