Engine holding fixture (P-201)
I'm being told that the Engine holding fixture (P-201) sold at this site as a SIR tools made in Europe is actually made in China. Can someone that's bought this confirm that? I'm told that the SIR P-201 should cost more like $300.

I can't verrify what product is being sold here but I can tell you that the Chinese cradle works as we as anything. I generally discurage the use of Chinese products (based on past experience) but this one is ok.

...just a side thought (in line with Henry's). If you can bend metal, cut it and weld, i don't see what the issue would be. Just a guess, but I think the general dsg of that engine stand mount could easily hold the wt of two motors.

Mostly I don't like Chinese products, but if it work right I can get over it. There is a US version for sale on ebay but I understand it doesn't work right.

Have you ever imagined how your world would look like if all the "Made in China" products would suddenly disappear? ....
You would be standing there half-naked, with no TV, cell phone, IPOD, or computer, etc. Most newer cars would not function any longer due to the lack of electronic components. And that would just be the beginning. On the plus side the Walmarts and Targets would become the biggest indoor cart tracks ![]()
