CIS gasket
I am trying to replace the CIS fuel distribution gasket on my 1980 930. It is #21 in this photo.
![]() There are several screws holding the two halves together that have springs on them. Currently I can tighten and loosen them with my fingers. When I take these apart to replace the gasket how do I re-tighten them? The manual says tighten to the block then back off one turn. Does this mean compress the spring until it is tight then back off one turn? As I mentioned mine are currently not this tight so I am not sure what they mean. ![]() Thanks

Do exactly as it says tighten down but not excessively then back off one turn. Done this with my 82 with CIS and never had an issue.
