New to rebuilding what is the max power i can get with the stock fuel system on a SC
I am think about engine rebuilding when the time comes.
Now, how many bhp can i get with the stock fuel system in place. I am think if 240-250 bhp is attainable. I would like good torque at low rpm like how this current engine is making the car drivable. I use my car for track/rallies and street . it's an everyday car to me. If anybody has done it what parts are required. Please list the parts and the dyno charts if you so i know i can get. Thank you very much.

You ask a loaded question that has been answered in many posts on this site.
I would start with this post... options on SC rebuild. Basically I think you are asking if you can make 240+ horsepower with CIS fuel injection. I'm sure there are some builders who have done this but I think the cam you would need to run would kill the low end grunt you currently have. Guys who run street/track cars w/ CIS think the 964 cam is about the limit while maintaining streetability. You are probabably around 220 HP with this combo. Here is another post that has dyno sheets. dyno results To maintain torque you can also consider increasing the bore size to 98mm giving you 3.2 displacement. Then a more radical cam like a 964 Sport from "camgrinder" here on Pelican would be an option that gets you closer to 240+.

One should understand that such engines are NOT cheap to build as they require bigger pistons and cylinders, longer stroke cranks, machine work and twin-ignition to work properly. With a realistic budget, it can be done successfully.

Thanks for a ll the help. I tried searching for old post but could not get much info with the whether the fuel system was completely changed. Most had a completely new fuel system.
