Those Aasco springs and TI retainers saved my bacon on my 2.5l race motor. My shift coupler screw started backing out and missed a shift, twice. If I did not have those, with the Pauter rods I would of damaged the motor. Well worth the cash and insurance.

What is the story with those 1 inch tall spacers between the manifolds and the heads? And what did you coat the PMO manifolds with to get that mag look? dug Quote:

I would suspect they allow a better transition between the ports and intake runners- tapering into an anti-reversion step, along with providing some thermal insulation for the carbs from the hot metal heads.
