Capacity increase question
Hi,
If one were to use a 964 crank with 98mm P&C's in a 3.2 motor, what would be the resulting capacity of the motor? 3.5L all up? What about 100mm P&C's with the same configuration? |

98mm will be a 3.5
100mm is a 3.6

BoreXBoreXStrokeX785X6 = Displacement Of a six cylinder engine.
Easy-est way I found to calculate displacement. Substitute the six for any number. |

What are the implications of using the 3.6 crank?
Can you use the 3.2 flywheel? Do you have to space out the cylinders? Chainboxes? Would the 98 mm piston/cylinder kit be the same as that used in taking a 3.2 to 3.4? Can a stock 3.2 motronic accommodate this change? Can you use the 3.2 distributor? Anything else? Sorry for the semi-hijack. |
