67s engine series

Hello, does anyone have a data base for S engines for 67. I have 901/05 909118
and I was wondering where it came from. Thanks

A 67S engine will be 901/02. You have a 67 normal engine there. Most likely
from late 66 for the 67 model year. Dave P has a database but yours is most
certainly not an S engine. Additionally S engines for the 67 model year start
with with serial number '96'

Thank you

Thanks for your quick replies. Would using this coupe 67 engine in a targa 67 reduce its value?

The is no coupe engine. The engines could be used in either coupe or targa.
An S engine installed in a car determined if the VIN was amended with an S or not.
909118 is not an S engine, but it is an early 1967 MY engine type 901/05. Unfortunately, the Targa production was delayed, and I believe they all got the type 901/06 engine with the 911xxx serial range as did all the later 1967 coupes. So that is not the correct engine type for your targa, and certainly not the original engine.
