I have not used the Wevo units but have heard good things, You need some compliance with still being able to limit torque movement for the shift linkage on the track/hotrod cars. Solid mounts were the quick and dirty way but created alot of problems from cracking all kinds of things to the fuel issues in carbs.

I'm not nearly as concerned with engine performance as it relates to harmonic vibration as I am with damage related to that vibration.

The mounts we use are the club sport mounts (aka Cabriolet mounts)
911 375 043 07.

We have used the Wevo mounts at the request of a few customers and they seem to be a great product. That is the impression I have of all of the Wevo products.

Hi Scott,

I use either Wevo's (blue or black, depending on application) or the factory Clubsport (cabrio) rubber ones.

Same recommendations for all EFI engines as it does improve shifting during high loads.

FYI, the factory clubsport mounts have a blue paint mark near the stamped number.

Thanks for the info guys. I haven't tried the black Wevo mounts but may do so over the winter.

Guys, as an update. I installed the carbs on the car... seems to run well but my fuel pressure is reading just below 2 psi... more like 1.8 or 1.9 PSI.. Is this bad? I heard that it should be around 3 or possibly higher.
