I spoke with John by calling his number today around 6PM eastern. he said he just got a shipment of billets and would be busy for the next month.

Maybe I just got lucky but try calling later in the day.

I have been doing business with John for many years and I find that my service is commensurate to my communication.
If you communicate your needs efficiently, it makes his job easier.

John is an asset to this forum and the Porsche community in general, so I would suggest that your posts speak more about your communication skills (or lack there of) than John's service.

While I understand your frustration, this form of communication seems destructive rather than productive.

It is not MY communications that need improvement. I have been extremely patient and these posts get John's attention. I have been very cautious not to air my complaints here or elsewhere but I don't know what other choice I have. PM me if you need more explaination.

From what I know John is one of the best at what he does. My experience is that sometimes it takes time to get the best from the best.

If I were John I would send you back whatever parts or deposit you sent me and then tell you to find services elsewhere (go pound sand)...

If you have a problem with John, work it out with John; this forum is no place for that. You'll find few sympathizing ears here as Camgrinder has many friends at Pelican.

Guys do not get crazy over this. I have no problem with John's workmanship. I have a communication problem with him and have found this to be an effective way to get him to contact me. I apologize for some frustration I have shown here. Edited.
