I used to race an old square barrel 250 like that. Joe Zappa and Brian Kenny got a lot of my money keeping that thing running. BTW I have a knot on my coller bone from where the Girling shocks gave up and threw my ass over the bars. While I was healing my cousin forward mounted the shocks and extended the forks to give me some real travel.

The knot in my collarbone didn't come from a Maico. It was the result of a incredibly quick but foul handling porcupine barreled Werks CZ 400 from The Bike Shop.

I almost bought a 250cc CZ with the ball buster tank, I think it was a 1972. Went with the Maico instead. BTW love seeing the old pictures.
