Does My Car need a Strut Tower Brace?
Dag-Nabbit, I meant to post this in the technical forum, not engine rebuilding!
Well, I re-posted it over there. No need to have it twice.

The answer to your question lies in the lap times you post.
From many years of setting up race cars in various classes...I can postitivly say one thing....go with what works for you..the driver! Some drivers like "loose" cars..so they can sort of throw it around...some like "tight" cars....more presise. The end result is in the lap times of the same car with the same driver/fuel load/weight/temperatures/time of day/and whatever. Keep a very careful log of the changes/temps/etc...sit down at night and figure out what worked...and what did not. I can tell you...it took 3 years to dial in a formula Ford for just one track (Mosport)...and a lot of trial and error changes. Bob

You are correct sir...but remember...the feel of the car inspires confidence in the driver...so changes to the car will reflect on the lap times in both ways.
Putting a driver in an unfamiliar car with settings perfect for another driver will not always result in better lap times. Bob
