Noisy Generator Bearings?
Aloha from Maui,
My 1974 Carrera has a clunky sound coming from the fan housing that sounds like some bearings going out. What parts do I need to order to fix it? The generator is charging fine, and the car is completely bone stock and 100% original. Mahalo Gregg Blue ![]() ![]() |

just pull it out & take to your local rebuilder - will cost about $125 and will be perfect
i have '2' 3.2 units done recently at that price -california prices, no less .
