964 & 993 Crankcase Identical

Are the crankcases for the 993 and 964 identical? They have the same part no:

964-101-905-10

There seems to be a new, superceded version with an 11 at the end. What is different about this newer on vs. the older one?

Thanks!

The newest cases for 964 are in the 997 turbo and have no openings for the oil return tubes on the side of the case.

993 cases have fewer studs, using bolts instead.
