79sc row engine rebuild advice

rebuilding my 3.0 row motor i got a set of 40 webers and headers i need some advice on pistons and cam selection any and all advice welcome

Bruce Anderson suggests a GE40 or 911 S cam, in which case he warns that additional valve clearance may be required. See page 145, 2nd edition. Seems that you already implemented all of his other suggestions

JE pistons of appropriate compression for ignition system (9.5:1 and below for single plug).

WebCam 464/465 cam - good idle, nice delivery if you enjoy a bit of rev.
