RoW 1976 911S

I have a 1976 911 S RoW version Porsche VIN 9116500509 this car has a plate on the door stating it was made in West Germany Kunstharzlack then under the name 106-9-2.
On the same door is "M 8" embossed above the West Germany plate. Can someone identify this in the context of what this car is?

106-9-2 is the paint code

106 = Talbot Yellow I believe
9 = the coach builder (9 = main Porsche facility in Stuttgart)
2 = paint manufacturer (2 is Glasurit I think)

The M8 is just a pressing stamp - all early 911's have them.
