my 2.0 E rebuild

hello,

finally some picture of my engine rebuild. I have decided to upgrade it to S engine.
Only MFI is missing (i got it but no yet mounted )
and SSI heat exchanger
Some details :
when i bought the car (coming from US ) this engine was with carburettors.
I rebuild it with MFI .
Casing was machined for intermediate shaft bearing mod , oil bypass.
Crank, flywheel (lighter ) and rods were balanced despite it is originally very good.
new oil pump from 3.2 and new intermediate shaft
993 studs
new pistons and cylinder (9.8 compression ratio)
heads machined and polished
2.0 s MFI pump rebuilt by bosch classic
S camshaft
new injectors
new microswitch, transducer ....
all sprocket, tensioner , nuts and bolts have been renewed.
clutch is a sachs performance for 215 MM
I must sand blast the fan as soon as the motorola alternator will be refurbished to achieve the job.
thanks to the great guy who have done this job.

jd

In a near future i will add a mandatory front oil cooler.

Wow looks great Jerome.... and I can actually see "my" breather cover sticking up there... :-)

One thing... why go from E cams to S cams... are you planning on using it for tracks?

hi soren

yes for sure there is your breather cover

no not on track , but i wanted to have an engine character a bit different perfectly linked with my 2.0 S mfi pump .
I know it is not really 100% original but i wanted to have more pleasure regarding power.
