Absolutely. If you have the HPV1 twin plug system you will get two aluminum "boards", with three spark coils mounted on each. Each of these coils has two plug wire terminals. You use one for the uppers, and one for the new lowers.

You will remove your distributor (or, if you can't think of a way to make a suitable plug, you can leave it in, minus the wires, as an elaborate plug - but Clewitt sells a plug for this hole). Your CD box goes. Your spark coil goes.

You add a crank pulley mounted toothed wheel, and a sensor to sense it.

It is pretty slick - I ran one with carbs for about 15 years, and it was maybe 8 years old when I got it. It doesn't have the 16x16 matrix adjustability that the newer EFI+spark versions have, but for a race motor you simply don't need that.

I have a HPV1 complete system available for twin plug system.
Kit includes 6 coils mounted on logic boards, Crank pulley, Brand new VR sensor from Clewitt Engineering, Map sensor, and CDI box.
Also have a manual.

Willing to let it go for $500.

Regards

J

I'm using one on my 2.7 conversion running carbs, RS piston/cylinder set, and S cams with great results.

Any questions (or to get the necessary parts to do the conversion), call Richard Clewitt. He really knows his stuff and should be able to advise you.
