Is this crankshaft stock?
I've been reading a bit on cross drilling and noticed the center main bearing on my crank is already drilled from one side straight thru to the other. I don't really understand where the cross drilling is meant to be so here are some photos... hopefully someone more knowledgeable can tell me what I've got here. I purchased it used and is P/N: 93010201505 (SC crank)
Thanks in advance ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Well the center feed has been drilled, but you need to make sure its connect to the oil passages next to it. Plug one of the holes in the center main and blow into the other. Air should be coming out on the next one over.

Thanks for the tip... did that and yes air comes from the next door rod journals!
I believe I've got the straight dope on this now... spoke with a builder and seems to take full advantage of this, I'll need to enlarge to case oil feed for that main bearing to 1/4" or 6mm as well as having that main bearing grooved. Sound about right?

Your post #3 is exactly what to do. Remember to pull main galley plugs and clean.
