DROPPING TRANS WITH 88 3.2l ENGINE ANY SECRETS

Changed my plans and am now dropping the trans with the engine. Engine is ready to drop but now need to disconnect the transmission (G50) any gotchas I need to know about?

The bolt to the trans is 8 mm specific to the application
The head is accessed from drivers side and the connector is aluminum.
Once the bolt is removed, make sure the shifter moves the aluminum inside the chassis as it's an expensive break.

Follow many of the instructions found here on the site. Do it step by step and go slow. There is an electrical connection at the front of the engine near the left shuck tower. The slave cylinder if easier to remove when the engine is partially dropped. Whe. You drop,it down, just watch for things catching or not undone. It's not hard but can seem really scary!
