Help Identifying an engine

I've got a question about the serial numbers on this motor. The 652 number is obviously stamped in after the fact as the motor would have been an early 66' motor and was last in a 72' car.
The type is 901/05 but the serial number on the front is 218028. Has anyone seen a 218 serial number before?

thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks, that would make sense I guess. Blank replacement stamped on the front side for the 68T then on the right side for the 72. So basically the numbers don't mean anything and I should refer to the type 901/05 as for what it is.
Appreciate the help!

I had a 67s that was blank. I'm thinking this was the same and was stamped later in its life. If you look at the 72 number its even the wrong font.
The carbs are idtp webers btw.
