Source for Plastic Caps/Covers?
Just dropped my engine/transmission and now the fun job of cleaning everything including the engine bay and inner fenders can begin. Does anyone know of a source for those plastic caps that you can use to seal open oil line fittings, AC lines, etc? I stopped at a couple of FLAPS and they gave me that vacant stare that they do so well when I ask a question! Thanks, much!

I used a bunch of various different size tapered rubber stoppers from the hardware store.
Crown Bolt 1/2 in. x 5/16 in. Black Rubber Stopper-15948 - The Home Depot I screwed wood screws into them to make little grab handles

Thanks Kevin for your reply. I actually do have a few rubber stoppers and a great True Value Hardware down the street from my office. But to seal some of the tubing fittings on my car, I was hoping to find a source for the kind of plastic caps that you find on the fittings of a new AC compressor or an oil cooler.

Try this place Northwest Hydra-Line :: Plastic Caps & Plugs :: Plastic Metric Threaded Plug or do a search for the brand name caplugs on google. I've seen the caplugs brand on a number of products
