Rocker arm adjustment screw?
Hey guys while testing my valve to Piston clearance I unscrewed the nut a bit and noticed the threads on the bolt were coming off. I looked at the others and they're all fine.
I just need the one. Was wondering if I could buy that? ![]() ![]() The rocker is fine just were the nut would sit isn't in good shape. Alsooooo Do I have to pull the rocker off to replace that? If I do need to pull it off do I need to take the cam chain housings off to get the rocker shaft out? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Our host sells them. You do have to take the rocker out. Two Allen keys will work, but sometimes getting the rocker pivot out can be a pain when the others are in place. Good luck!

I'll send you one if you can't find one. You don't need to pull off the cam chain housing, the pin will come out without removing anything else. I use a brass 1/4 dia rod to tap out the pin after the lock screw is loose. Be careful not to ding the aluminum bore.

Hey Joe
I can throw one in with the piece of engine tin you purchased. I just need your mailing address.

I think you can change it without removing the rocker arm. In fact you might have trouble screwing the adjuster bolt through the arm since the thrads are so buggered up. You just unscrew the adjuster and the foot will pop off. Re-install the same way.
