915 trans question

I have a 915 trans that the oil seal on the right side is weeping. this seal is behind the plate for the cv joint. the plate is held by a bolt in the center. can I just remove the bolt and pull the plate and seal? Is there some kind of crush factor when reinstalling
the bolt?.... TKS

HI,
With right side you mean passenger side?
If the oil is coming from the retainer, yes you can remove the hub and replace the seal.
Is my opinion.
I have done.
