3.6 conversion issue (no fuel)

I'm installing a 964 3.6 engine in my -69 car.
I've made the conversion harness myself and all other wiring, but the engine won't start.
*I have spark.
*I have fuel pressure
But the injectors don't fire.

It like the DME is cutting the fuel on purpose. Have I forgotten something. Is there any "safety feature" that cuts fuel that I might have missed?

Any ideas?

This is getting really annoying.... Been over everything...

The last thing is the battery and voltage drop. The voltage drops really low, 8.5-9.5 volts when cranking.

Anyone who knows how low it can drop and the dme still work?

I've seen the electrics in my 964 flake out after it sits too long in the 'run' position without actually running, but I have to imagine that the drop-during-cranking was something the designers expected. Are you running a modern-sized battery? I have a hard time imagining a 1969-sized battery could effectively spin a manly 3.6.

Do you have access to a Bosch Hammer or analogous (Durametric, etc...) scanner to watch what's occurring in real-time?

Just a far out tip: a friend of mine struggeled with hes car for quite some time until he finally found out that he'd mixed the wieres to the injectors. + on - and vice versa. It's far out - but will really be confusing if it's wrong..

Success! Today it started up!!
Could not believe it all 6 injectors were stuck closed!!

I connected 12v directly from the battery, that freed them up and they started to "click".
